Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

A common type of talk therapy (psychotherapy). You work with a mental health counselor (psychotherapist or therapist) in a structured way, attending a limited number of sessions.

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

Evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents, and their caregivers, to deal with the negative impact of traumatic events, such as witnessing violence, experiencing sexual or physical abuse, an unexpected death, or a natural disaster. It incorporates a trauma-sensitive model and interventions with cognitive behavioral, family and humanistic techniques.

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

Concentrates on finding solutions in the present time and exploring one’s hope for the future to find quicker resolution of one’s problems. This method takes the approach that you know what you need to do to improve your own life and, with the appropriate coaching and questioning, are capable of finding the best solutions.

Ensures your physical health and safety from COVID (or other illnesses). Most insurance companies will cover Telehealth the same as in office meetings.
